ISHO Interior Trend Report 2021

Recently, there has been an overall shift from minimalism in the design world where while the designs are simple - the traditional monochromatic spaces are being broken with pops of color, accent walls and vibrant furniture and accessories. People, in their monotonous daily lives, are looking for sparks and liveliness in particular during lockdown. Isho has developed the 2021 Trend Report highlighting 6 shades that are trending worldwide.

 

The Enigmatic Bedroom | Sapphire Blue

Given the amount of unexpected times we have all spent in our homes during recent times, 2021 has been about refreshing and reinvigorating color. There has been no lack of colorful spirit from interior designers over the past few years, and that trend is set to continue. One can look for everything from jewel tone colors to clear and vivid palettes to create a visually stimulating home. And nothing speaks more along those lines than a vivid sapphire blue to liven up interiors. Sapphire blue, well accentuated by the dark tones of our Vesterbro grey bed perfectly coupled with Navigli black side table adds a sense of mystery to the bedroom.The curved wall lamp, adds nuance to the scene, making it a perfect fit to shine a light when needed.

The Calming Study | Sage Green

Optimistic colors shall brighten up the doldrums this year left by 2020. More clear colors and brighter neutrals will emerge in a big way. A cool earth tone with hints of silvery gray, sage green is every bit as sprightly as it is sophisticated. Pictured here is our calming study room, with sage green walls, a colour often used in modern, minimalist interiors for a sophisticated effect. Ethereal Baby Room | Classic White

There is nothing more classic than white, a colour that will forever be a trend in every trend report. No better way to highlight the purity of white, than a baby room. The innocence of a baby is symbolized by white. The colour provides that classic shade needed to create a tranquil environment, helping your baby’s fresh new eyes get used to the world around. Vibrant Living Room | Burnt Orange

In 2021, we are continuing to see the resurgence of rich, saturated hues. Designers and homeowners have not shied away from interiors lavishly swathed in color. This year, burnt orange is one shade taking center stage. Some call it terracotta and others refer to it as amber, but there’s no denying the popularity behind this warm hue.
