Rights. Justice. Action.
Designing Safer Cities for Women
The ISHO Women's Day 2026 Design Challenge is a national competition to reimagine urban systems and develop implementable solutions that advance safety, dignity, visibility, and access for women and girls.
Cities are not neutral.
They shape who is visible, who is safe, and who is excluded.
Safety is a right.
Not a privilege — a fundamental right to dignity, access, and presence.
Concept to action.
Ideas must translate into systems that embed safety into urban life.
