NSU Artfest 2020 took place from the 26th to the 28th of February, on the North South University Campus in Bashundhara R/A.

At the event ISHO premiered Dormbox, a popup emulating the experience of a small coliving space. It Dormbox explores coliving on a small scale, as a concept addressing utilization of spaces in growing densities. It’s where individuals share a living and working space. The most important concept of coliving is the idea of flexibility, as the space must be able to serve several functions and uses.

Dormbox featured a flexible open space, perfect for a quick party, group study session or lazy hangout. It featured the Kowloon sofa bed for seating or overnight guests, and the bluetooth ottoman for music and seating.

The first bedroom featured a Navigli single bed for one occupant, and a smart floater on the wall to wirelessly charge a device during the night. An L table could also be added for studying or surface options.

The second bedroom featured a similar setup, with a Vesterbro single bed, built for a minimal living enthusiast.

Lastly, the second shared space can double as a study and a dining space. The space featured a small Tertre dining table, Navigli seaters, and Muko shelves on the wall. The seaters in this space can be moved around easily and the shelves on the wall double as studying or a surface to serve food.
